  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh thyme or parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Non-stick cooking spray (or melted butter for greasing)

Instructions

Preheat and Prep

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick spray or use silicone liners.

Whisk Egg Mixture

Layer Ingredients

  • Add sliced turkey sausage to the bottom of each muffin cup.
  • Sprinkle cheese and green onions evenly over the sausage.

Fill with Egg Mixture

  • Pour the egg mixture into each muffin cup, filling them about 2/3 full. Leave space for the muffins to puff up.

Bake

  • Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until muffins are golden and set in the center. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.

Cool and Serve

  • Allow muffins to cool for 5 minutes in the tin. Remove gently with a spatula or fork. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley for a fresh touch.
